LADOGA—Mrs. Vernie Gwin, 50, of Rt. 2, Ladoga, died at 1 am. Tuesday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after a week’s illness. She was born May 5, 1920, in Moutre County, Illinois, the daughter of Willard and Agnes Woodward. She married Donald Gwin on May 26, 1955. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Donald Archer of Fishers, Ind., Ronald Archer of Indianapolis and William Coleman, serving with the Air Force in Japan, and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Marie Muffler of Arizona, Mrs. Wanda Dilman of Texas and Mrs. Ressie Kizzie of Indianapolis, and four brothers, Willard Woodward of DeKalb, Ill., Jesse Woodward of Bloomington, Chester Woodward, in Vietnam, and Robert Woodward of Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Gephart Funeral Home at Ladoga with Rev. Dan Chambers officiating. Interment will be in Ladoga Cemetery.
